Therapeutic Riding Program

WindReach Farm is proud to offer therapeutic and recreational horseback riding lessons to individuals with special needs. We are a member centre of the Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association (CanTRA) and our lessons are taught by Equine Canada, CanTRA certified instructors or individuals working towards their certification. WindReach Farm is also home to the Durham Region Therapeutic Riding Association in addition to offering riding programs to schools within the Durham District School Board, Durham Catholic School Board, and various private schools.

Schedule

Therapeutic riding lessons are divided into four seasonal sessions
Lessons run Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am – 8:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Fees

Private Lesson (1 rider) 30 minutes $50
Group Lesson (3-4 riders) 60 minutes $40

Participants

Individuals 2 years of age or older with a disability
