Homespun Wool Therapy Program

The Homespun Program at WindReach Farm is an inclusive experience program designed to involve individuals of all ages and abilities, including those with physical, intellectual and/or psychological challenges, in the processing of wool and fibre. When wool is used as a therapeutic medium, it offers benefits to health and wellness and enhances both skill development and quality of life. The program encompasses all stages of the wool processing cycle, from raw fleece to the finished product. This renewable resource is provided by our animals at WindReach Farm. No prior experience is required. Each participant’s needs and goals will be considered on an individual basis and adjustments made as needed.
